I am a natural healing facilitator
I have worked and studied as a holistic health practitioner since 1980. My background includes an AMTA approved program in Healing Arts from Dr. Scherer’s Academy of Natural Healing, certifications in colon hygiene, reflexology, reiki third degree, and extensive research and study in mind body spirit medicine including cranial-sacral therapy. I have massage licenses in Hawaii and Ohio.
Dance, another lifelong passion, has taken me from Hawaii to the Caribbean, studying an array of Afrocentric folkloric to Latin social dances of today. I have taught fundamental Caribbean and Samba dance to a variety of adult and youth groups. Trained as a Trance Dance Facilitator with Wilbert Alix in 2000, I lead trance dances (Jaguar Trancedance) in Hawaii, Ohio, California, and at the Omega Institute in New York. I have been honored to exchange my gifts at the Ann Wigmore Institute on the beaches of Puerto Rico. In my medicine bag, I carry a variety of transformational dance classes, archetype workshops, and retreats.
In 1989, I re-emerged after a "dark night of the soul", onto the path of the Great Spirit. This transcendence opened me up to many global indigenous traditions. My quest for the quintessential healing modality has brought me to learn the medicine ways of the ancient Incans through Alberto Villoldo’s Healing the Light Body School. I had the special honor of apprenticing and assisting with Don Eduardo Chura Apaza, Paqo (shaman) of the Q'ero medicine people of Cusco, Peru. He is a descendant of an ancient healing lineage undisturbed by colonization. Here I have found a perfect way to bring forward my rich and varied background into beautiful forms to assist you on your magnificent journey of discovering your true nature… your Destiny of Grace.
