Rachael Bardnell, MSW, LISW, PMH-C, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Perinatal Mental Health–Certified clinician in Ohio. She supports parents navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with becoming—and being—a parent. Her work is shaped by both clinical training and lived experience. After experiencing her own perinatal mental health challenges during pregnancy and postpartum, she felt called to create a space where parents feel safe, understood, and supported as whole humans—not only in crisis, but in growth. She integrates trauma-informed care, somatic and nervous system–based tools, and gentle mindfulness practices to help parents build capacity, resilience, and steadiness in everyday life. In addition to her private practice, she serves as a Staff Support Clinician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, providing emotional support, crisis response, and wellbeing consultation for healthcare staff. She is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a specialty certification in Embodied Mindfulness-Based Emotional Resilience, which informs her body-based and compassionate approach to care. Through The Whole Parent Collective, she offers somatic therapy and leadership-informed coaching that honors each person’s experiences, body, and intuition, grounded in compassion, connection, and hope.
