meet VIRGIL
Virgil (V) Ocampo is a licensed massage therapist based in Columbus, Ohio. He believes every body deserves thoughtful, intentional care. Virgil strives to create the kind of space he would’ve felt safe receiving bodywork as a trans person of color before becoming a massage therapist himself.
Virgil’s work is collaborative and client-led, blending breath-work, sports massage, trigger point techniques, and manual lymphatic drainage to create a supportive and therapeutic experience. Whether someone is living with chronic pain, burnout, recovering from injury or surgery, training for an event, or looking for a supportive place to slow down, every session is tailored to what your body needs that day.
His particular interest lies in recovery focused care, chronic pain management, and creating a LGBTQ+ & BIPOC affirming and safe spaces for his clients, especially those navigating gender-affirming surgery and recovery.
Virgil is expanding his focus in pre- and post-op surgical care with continued education through the Vodder School in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
Outside of massage you can find Virgil gardening, refereeing soccer, or making a giant meal to share with friends.
